Inspiration

Hey Cyborg!

I've been thinking a lot lately about what inspires me and my music. I do these kind of meditative sessions every time I go into making a new record... but this time it feels like I'm in an alternate universe.

There has been so much going on in my personal life and I feel like I've grown tremendously in just the time it's been since my last record ("5") was released. I almost feel like a different person.

As I go deeper into making my sixth record I keep one thing in my mind at all times. 

YOU.

My fans are incredible. I've been growing my brand and my music business steadily since 2007 but the last year and a half have been insane. I'm always listening to what movies, books, images, anything that inspires YOU... what's funny is that these things often align with my own.

My next album is probably the most "Me" you have seen. My fans are an extension of myself and this album reflects that. I want this record to be an extension of our community!

From futuristic landscapes, outer space, galaxies, planets, Star Trek, Star Wars, Britney Spears, TVXQ, Deadmau5, electronic music, pop music, we are one and the same. 

I KNOW you will enjoy #JM6. I've been meticulously working on every drum beat to get things just right. More so than any other body of work I've ever produced!! 

This process however takes time...

I'm not sure when the album will be released but I do know that it will be worth every second of waiting we ALL have had to experience in anticipation of it! hahaha. Trust me, cyborg! This record is 100% FOR US!!
