Jonathan Miller recently gave 2 two statements regarding his latest single, "Not Afraid of My Heart" and the current protests happening all over the United States. In a note posted to his social media platforms, here's what he had to say:
On Wednesday, June 3rd, Jonathan Miller released another statement about his YouTube Channel and surprise remix for "Not Afraid of My Heart" as well.
" 🔴 Real Quick: If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you may have already seen my thoughts on what's happening here in the USA, but there will be NO VIDEO on my YouTube Channel today. To me, it feels inappropriate to post regular content right now. I know many of you were looking forward to “Billboard, Part 2” but I hope you understand why I’m postponing its release.
However, I also have an official remix to “Not Afraid of My Heart” scheduled to be released on Friday that I would like to postpone but, unfortunately, it’s out of my control to pause the release of it. The song was distributed and sent to stores before current events here in the US so it will be out everywhere as scheduled.
I will NOT be promoting it either until a more appropriate time has arrived. It’s not how I intended to surprise everyone but I did want you to be aware of this when it appeared in stores. If you are interested in purchasing the song please DON’T and instead DONATE that money to important organizations like Color of Change, the NAACP, or the George Floyd Memorial Fund. Thank you. -JM"
Miller is encouraging fans and subscribers to support black artists, getting educated about issues, registering to vote, and donating to organizations like the NAACP, the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Color of Change and more.
