By Admin Rob Hi Cyborgs!
I have listened to many people complain about social media and how it is so impersonal. To that I say, "REALLY?!" A common complaint is as follows: No face to face, person to person connection. . . and it's usually followed up by "why back in the day. . . " That is one phrase I can not stand and I'm calling them out! "Back in the day" there was a little thing called a telephone. Said telephone had one line or, if you were unlucky, a party line. Let's talk the telephone line be it party or singular. This line could be tied up for hours as your sister talked endlessly gabbed to her friends or, the dreaded boyfriend.. NO ONE could get through when miss 'Chats-a-lot' decided to get on the line. Less than 2% of everyone you knew could stay in your life only because they would have had to write a letter or make the effort to call when wishing to catch up. Well I say Welcome to the Future. Now we have a little thing called the Internet. This amazing form of communication brought the percentage of person to person connection from less than 2% to over 67% staying current with friends and family. I find the internet an amazing form of communication. We can keep in touch, track our children for safety and MAINTAIN those friendships long after Graduation, Marriages, maybe even Retirement. You can stay up-to-date with your favorite Music, TV and Movie Celebs. See the weather before it happens and get connected to people, places and things that were virtually impossible "back in the day." Instead of waiting for that supportive letter you can now shoot someone a text. Birthdays and holidays are less easily forgotten. I think this is all so cool and immediate. We, who have moved into the future see the good and applaud the capabilities we have at our fingertips. Technology rocks and it's only getting better! It's so easy to stay in touch and in the know! Hey Cyborgs! 🤖
How has your week been going? What's up on your end?? I wanted to check in this week and share some AWESOME home studio gear I'm OBSESSED with. One of the questions I get asked by new fans is what kinds of gear do I use to record and edit my music? Well, one of my recent additions has also been one of my CHEAPEST!! I'm talking about the EDIFIER R1010BT BLUETOOTH STUDIO MONITORS!! They have been an invaluable addition to my home recording studio. The best part is that they are only about $100 and dude, it was worth every penny. The sound quality is warm and clear. I'm able to hear minute details in my mixes that I wasn't able to hear previously. It's really making a difference in my audio engineering for my next release. Another reason I love them is because the bluetooth part is so reliable. They don't drop the connection whenever they seemingly feel like it like other bluetooth speakers on the market. *shade* hahaha Anyway, I did a full product review of them on my YouTube Channel this week because I've just been loving them so much! >>> CLICK HERE TO WATCH MY FIRST PRODUCT REVIEW! <<< Have an awesome week, my friend! Let's chat soon! xo, and Welcome to Level 2, Jonathan MIller PS: I won't be uploading a new video next Wednesday cuz I have to have some oral surgery (wisdom teeth removal time!) but I've got plenty of more awesome content on my channel! As you can see from the picture above, Jonathan is now in his Writing Season! It's so exciting to watch him create, think, toss and begin again. He's changing up and moving on via updating his studio with new equipment monitors, microphones, soundproofing, etc, It's beginning to look a lot like the studio he recorded "The Space Between" in with Peter Roberts (Studio City, CA.) Jonathan's experience with Peter helped begin his journey into starting his own record label and producing the electro pop sound that we've all come to know. Jonathan is more focused than ever to put out music that is of the highest quality. He has taken many classes, done tons of research and, like I said before, updated his equipment to help him achieve his goals. Like I said, this is Jonathan's writing season and not every song he makes is "Album" material and might not even be in his specific genre. He will share some of those song with you on his YouTube Channel designed specifically for great quality instrumentals or the like. Stay tuned for more exciting news from the studio! New music is definitely on the way!! STAY UP TO DATE WITH JONATHAN ON TWITTER HERE!!!! 🔥 NEW ALBUM REVIEW UP!

Just dropping by to say Happy Valentine's Day whether you're single or not! :) Thought I'd share some of my fave love songs for the special holiday! <3 Have an awesome day! xo Jon-Jon By Admin Rob Hi Cyborgs! Have you been watching the Olympics?! Pretty cool how North Korea and South Korea have come together! It just proves that we really can come together in solidarity, through hope and kindness. It has long been a goal of Jonathan's to bring people together through music by sharing with them his love of music because music is such a powerful thing. One of the songs that many fans find inspiring is "It's Alright to Fall in Love." It's a song about opening up to love and kindness after a severe struggle that might make you close yourself off to others. Check out the video below! Also, as I sat watching the Olympics today, my mind started to think about what sports would we would be watching in the future. Hmmmmmm . . . The year is 2054, what kinds of events might be on the schedule for the Winter Olympics? Let your imagination wonder. . . What would your event be in place of Bobsleigh? Curling? Figure Skating? Comment below with your ideas! Anything is possible. . . Peace, AdminRob PS: HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!! 💗 HEY CYBORGS!!
It's #NewMusicFriday and so here is my new urban pop instrumental "Dystopia!" Let me know what you think and what other types of music you'd like to hear from me! 😍😍😍😍😍 xo, Jonathan Miller New video is up!!
I thought it would be fun to kind of poke fun at myself today and share some of my #RejectedSongTitles from when I first started writing! You gotta check this one out and let me know if you want to see more! (I've got plenty to add hahahaha) xo, Jonathan By Admin Rob Valentine's Day is the day that people who want to share a token of their affection with those whom they love. It is also a day for Hallmark to make tons of money, along with See's chocolate. . . which btw, I love those milk chocolate caramels. . . just saying. :P
Here are a few of fun facts: **About 150 million cards are exchanged for Valentine's day. A close second to Christmas card exchanges. **Nobody is certain of who exactly St. Valentine was but there is a rumor that in Roman times, he was a person who kept performing secret marriages when the Emperor Claudius the ll outlawed young men from marrying. He needed single guys for his army, hence the no-no to marriage. Needless to say, the outcome for young Valentine was not good when caught. **1840's, Ester A. Howland began selling the first mass produced Valentine's in America, so thank you for that! Whether you celebrate that day or not, one thing is for sure, falling in Love is amazing. Love is Love and whomever has your heart, celebrate. Personally, I think it should be celebrated everyday, but maybe one could use February 14th as an exclamation point for that love. How do you think people will celebrate Valentine's Day in the future? What kinds of new traditions do you think will have come around by the year 3000? It's fun for one to think about these things. One of my favorite songs of Jonathan's is his 2010 single, "Celebration." It's more acoustic rock rather than his more current material but it's still a gem about love and the joyful feelings that come with it! Take a listen and add it to your 2018 Valentine's Day playlist! >>> Check out "Celebration" here! Sending love, Cyborgs!!! Peace! Admin Rob |
