By Admin Rob Valentine's Day is the day that people who want to share a token of their affection with those whom they love. It is also a day for Hallmark to make tons of money, along with See's chocolate. . . which btw, I love those milk chocolate caramels. . . just saying. :P
Here are a few of fun facts: **About 150 million cards are exchanged for Valentine's day. A close second to Christmas card exchanges. **Nobody is certain of who exactly St. Valentine was but there is a rumor that in Roman times, he was a person who kept performing secret marriages when the Emperor Claudius the ll outlawed young men from marrying. He needed single guys for his army, hence the no-no to marriage. Needless to say, the outcome for young Valentine was not good when caught. **1840's, Ester A. Howland began selling the first mass produced Valentine's in America, so thank you for that! Whether you celebrate that day or not, one thing is for sure, falling in Love is amazing. Love is Love and whomever has your heart, celebrate. Personally, I think it should be celebrated everyday, but maybe one could use February 14th as an exclamation point for that love. How do you think people will celebrate Valentine's Day in the future? What kinds of new traditions do you think will have come around by the year 3000? It's fun for one to think about these things. One of my favorite songs of Jonathan's is his 2010 single, "Celebration." It's more acoustic rock rather than his more current material but it's still a gem about love and the joyful feelings that come with it! Take a listen and add it to your 2018 Valentine's Day playlist! >>> Check out "Celebration" here! Sending love, Cyborgs!!! Peace! Admin Rob
