The people of Korea give certain titles to Kpop groups and artists that have contributed a significant amount to the country. Originally given to Girls' Generation following their massive success outside of Korea, the title in recent years has also been given to TWICE. Some K-Pop fans however have asked if BLACKPINK or RED VELVET might be better fitting given their success as well? As a longtime K-Pop fan, I'm finally weighing in on the debate and sharing my opinion -it's probably not going to be what you expect.
