It's not only important for us to relax in our everyday lives, but it's super important for anyone in a creative space to have the ability to chill when we hit the preverbal road block, writers block, painters block. . . well you get it. I personally like to walk barefoot in the grass while listening to some meditation music. Jonathan on the other hand like to play Pokemon Go or even dance. . . not to mention shopping! Who doesn't love retail therapy!
Relaxation can be in the form of meditation, playing, well, anything that makes you feel inspired! It needs to transform you, take you somewhere else where the real world takes a break from the forefront of your mind. Did you know you can take a relaxing break for as little as 5 minutes? That's about the length of your favorite song - extended version!
